Course Sample

Description: 3 hrs. Focuses on the role of the pastor as counselor. A “case study” approach will be used where the students and professor examine the role of the pastor in situations which require spiritual discernment. Cases will include weddings, funerals, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, and jails. Specific topics may include marital problems, counseling with teens and children, divorce, and death.
