Description: 2 hrs. This course will look in detail at the mighty movements of God’s Spirit in the history of the church, especially The Great Awakening, The Evangelical Revival in Great Britain, The Second Great Awakening, The Revival of 1858-59, The Revival of 1904-1905 in Wales, the Korean Pentecost, and the Hebrides Awakening, and it will consider Jonathan Edwards’ theology of revival and the development of revivalism in the 19th century.
