The project requires the complete removal of more than 24 years of debris since the school has been vacant. We are pleased to announce that this work, along with replacing the roof, was completed in March 2005. Architectural plans for the site and both exterior and interior drawings are complete and approved by the Board of Trustees. Necessary zoning and County approvals have been received and the project is clear of any regulatory and environmental hurdles. Approximately $830,000 in gifts and pledges were raised, but the majority of those funds have now been exhausted with these accomplishments.

It is our hope that Greenville Seminary can occupy the building in 2007. If the additional one million dollars needed for the next phase is given or pledged, the project will be turned over to the General Contractor for completion (see Updates for current progress.)
