The "buy a brick" program
is one of several easy
ways to support the renovation effort.

Project Opportunities
Greenville Seminary needs your assistance to reach its capital fund campaign goals. There are many opportunities for individuals and groups of all sizes to contribute to this campaign.

If you would like to contribute, you have the opportunity to Furnish a Room, Renovate a Room, Buy a Brick, or participate in our Deed program. Please consider helping Greenville Seminary by participating in one of these programs.

Furnish a room
Would you like to take a personal role in supporting the Seminary's first Capital Funds Campaign?

A Sunday school class, Youth or Women's group, or even an individual can donate funds to furnish a room or office.

Renovate a Room
You can help renovate a room or even a wing in a special way. Honor your friend or loved one by establishing a Memorial Fund in their name. Individuals, family members and even church members can donate money into the fund, and once the new building is complete, a handsome plaque in remembrance of your loved one will be placed in the designated area. The Judith Wick Memorial fund was established by her husband, Mr. Richard Wick, to help with the renovation and to provide a positive way for family, friends and church members to join together to honor this dear lady by recognizing her unfailing support for the seminary.

Buy a Brick
One of the numerous ways you can participate in the renovation of the "Old Taylors' High School" is our "Buy a Brick" program. This allows you to purchase an engraved brick that will be placed on the grounds of the Seminary's new campus. This is a wonderful way for individuals, families, churches and businesses to become a permanent part of our new campus. Family, alumni, friends or church groups can request that their bricks be placed together. Each single brick can have up to three lines of text with up to 20 characters per line (including spaces).

Cost per brick

Individuals or families = $100.00
Churches, Businesses or Corporations - $250.00

For more information on the "buy a brick" program please contact our development office or download the order form. (N.B. this download requires you to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer).

Coffee Anyone?
One practical way for supporters to help Greenville Seminary reach its financial goals is to give us a cup of coffee in the morning. No, we are not struggling with insomnia, this is just another easy way to plan your givings. The average cost of a coffeehouse coffee (Starbucks etc.) is around $2.50. Did you know that if you buy a coffee every working day - 5 days a week - that it would take you just 40 weeks to raise $500 for the seminary?

All we ask is that the next time you pay for a cup of coffee consider putting that same amount aside (or replacing it) for a donation to the seminary. If the seminary can get 4000 church members to donate, or make a three-year pledge, of $500 (just $13.89 a month, or, for the caffeine-dependant, that's just 5 and a half cups a month) we will be able to raise the two million dollars that we need to move forward with the renovations.

Deed Program
Another way you can participate on a personal, interactive level is through our Deed Program. This will allow an individual or group to purchase one or more unencumbered deeds for one square foot of the new facility for only $10 sq. ft. This is a wonderful way for the children, several of whom have already been involved in fundraising efforts, to further support the Capital Funds Campaign. This program is still in development, more information will be available later this year.

Other Ways to Give
There are a number of ways you can give if you desire to participate in efforts to renovate our new facilities:

  • Stocks/Properties
  • Company Matching Gifts or Employee Contributions
  • Life Insurance
  • Bequests

For more information on any of these projects please contact our development office or click over to our ways to give page.
